Andrew's War in the Pacific Map version 6.2 - Japan

< Previous Contents Next >

Map Changes:

New bases have been added to Japan as follows:

  • Tsu: Added due to the combining of Maizuru and Kyoto as a single base.

  • Muroran: A large port on the island of Hokkaido. Also one of the locations of the Japanese synthetic oil industry.

Japan has been drawn more realistically, although this creates one problem: Because Japan is a bit slimmer on my map, it was more difficult to add in all of the bases in the correct place. Most bases are in the right place, except for:

  • Nagasaki - Placed in the correct hex, but not connected to other bases accurately.

  • Maizuru and Kyoto occupy the same hex on my map, so the two bases, Maizuru and Kyoto, are now combined.
