Acknowledgements

The following people have provided valuable information or assistance during my creation of my map:

Joel Szabat ("Blackhorse"): First raised the problems with the representation of North America, particularly Alaska, on the Matrix forums, along with proposed corrections which I have taken up. Provided lots of valuable advice on the North American part of the map. Researched Alaskan base and 1941 OOB corrections and posted them on the Matrix forums, which I have also taken up.

Don Bowen: Generously provided data on Canadian coastal defences and Australian forces, which I have incorporated into the OOB data. Also provided a number of base and location name corrections, and managed to talk me into adding several new bases.

Mike Tremblay: Has provided a very large amount of useful information about Canadian OOB.

Marc Balasko ("Spooky"): Very generously provided space on his "UV and WitP" website for hosting this map.

Lee Whatley ("rogueusmc"): Very generously provided space on his WitP website for hosting this map.

Pascal Stalder: Provided an extensive list of recommended alterations to Pacific base values for december 1941. Although the list has mainly been used for input into the Combined Historic Scenario (CHS), it has been very useful.

Forest Webb ("treespider"): Provided extensive and invaluable assistance for revision of the China portion of the map, including copies of historic maps of China found at nearby libraries.

Oleg Mastruko: Provided useful period Dutch maps of the Dutch East Indies, as well as an entire atlas on CD-ROM.

Joe Wilkerson ("jwilkerson"): Provided useful suggestions for the revision of Indian bases.

Mike Scholl (among others): Suggested removing the "Burma Railway" from Siam/Burma.

Sid Trevethan: Provided  many good suggestions, especially for Korea, Japan, China and the Philippines, as well as useful information on railways, bases, resources, terrain etc.

Moose trained to mix concrete and sign complicated insurance forms by Jurgan Wigg.

If you have provided some assistance to the creation or updating of this map, but you are not listed here, then that is my fault. Send me a gentle reminder and I will correct the oversight.

Future Changes

Hopefully the map is now good enough that further planned revisions are no longer necessary. If problems with this map are found, or changes are suggested, I may make further updates, however (when I get the time).
